Important Note: There is no need to install Jenkins on the agent machine.

1: On your Jenkins controller go to **Manage Jenkins** > **Manage Nodes & Clouds**.

2. New Node: Enter node name

3. Configure the settings are described in below screenshots. Significance of each field is documented and shown

4. Add host ip (or) DNS name followed by new credentials creation as type "SSH Private key"

It is highly recommended to create private key with passphrase.

4. Host key verification strategy should be set as "Non verifying Verification Strategy".
